PUNTA HOSPITAL

Solarte is a small island between Isla Bastimentos and Isla Colón. To the south it has an important snorkeling point to observe the reef that shelters corals of type candela, of moose; brain and rock corals with snappers, parrotfish, groupers, lobsters and octopuses. The snorkeling place was named Punta Hospital because it is where the old hospital of the Bocas del Toro archipelago was.

JARDÍN DE SOLARTE

On Isla Solarte itself, there is a large coral garden 2.50 meters deep. It is a good point of snorkeling, to appreciate different kinds of coral, such as Coral Faviidae, Tubular Coral, Acropora, Fungia scutaria or fungus coral. You will also appreciate a great variety of fish in an unforgettable walk.

RED FROG BEACH

Wide beach of Isla Bastimentos, which you will enjoy for 2 hours, to bathe and explore the deep jungle on the shores of the sand. On the way to the beach there is a well-marked path,
