Cacao is a millenary fruit used as a food for the Gods. This traditional indigenous farm shows all the details of chocolate making. The idea is to demonstrate the traditional way that was used from the beginning regarding the domestication of this plant, which includes; the harvest, fermentation, drying, milling of the seeds to develop the final product that we consume today “EL CHOCOLATE”. Here you can taste a delicious drink based on cocoa or the chocolate already finished with a unique flavor and aroma. In the garden we will know a little of the medicinal plants and their healing powers, as well as observe the typical constructions of the Bribri community. You can also buy local crafts or order a typical lunch.
