There is no better way to start the day enjoying a surprising sunrise in the tropical forest, we know this is not going to regret, and much better for bird lovers, since the South Caribbean has a great variety, among them; The famous rainbow-billed Toucan, Oropendola Montezuma, Trogon massena, Kingfisher, Osprey and the peregrine falcon are some of the many that you will be able to appreciate. Paths by paddocks and farms of the farmers as well as coastal trails of the refuge and secondary forests. (Remember Gandoca access by the route to Sixaola and lasts about 1 hour from Puerto Viejo.)
